Get Selling: Get Contracted

Once you have gotten licensed in your resident state, you will need to get contracted with one of FFS’ carriers before you can sell their products. You will need to complete the carrier’s contracting application to start this process. During the contracting phase, the carrier will verify that you are licensed and check your background to ensure you meet their ethical standards to represent them. Once you complete the contracting process with an insurance carrier, the carrier will complete a state appointment with the respective State Department of Insurance to show that you are allowed to represent the carrier in that state.
