Fulfilling Carrier Requirements

Once you have submitted the application to the carrier, it will be reviewed by one of their Underwriters. An underwriter is someone who will review the information on the application to see if your client qualifies for the policy requested. As part of this review, they might have some questions or items they need completed before approval. These requests are referred to as “Requirements” to complete the policy application. The requirements could be anything from a verification of a driver’s license number to submitting additional bloodwork. No matter what they are, you will need to fulfill all requirements to successfully complete the policy process.
