Following Up with Cold Market Prospects

While your relationship with your warm market prospects gives you a lot of leeway, your success in your cold market rides on every interaction. Your cold market has no reason to like or trust you – they are looking for clues to who you are and how you do business. After they’ve expressed interest during your initial approach, following up shows that you care about them and their experience. Show them what it would be like to work with you – are you on time? Do you call when you say you will? Do you remember their name and what they do for a living? Be attentive and professional in all your interactions.
