When you start the licensing process, you will need to take and pass an insurance licensing exam. This is the one requirement that, no matter what state you reside in, must be done before you can apply for your license. But, before you take your exam, you will need to complete pre-license training that prepares you for the state exam.  All pre-licensing courses are designed to educate you about insurance, as well as state rules and regulations. It will educate you about the industry you have just started in and give you the tools to be successful when you take the exam.

Several states have a mandatory number of pre-license hours that need to be completed, while some don’t require pre-license training at all. Whether your state requires it or not, completing pre-license training can significantly increase your chances of passing the exam on your first attempt.

Getting your license is essential to building your business with FFS. We have worked with AD Banker to offer our agents customized tools, systems and resources to make sure that you have all the pre-licensing training and information you need to pass your state license exam. The AD Banker pre-licensing course is included as part of joining FFS as a un-licensed agent. Simply click the AD Banker link on the “Partner Links” page in your Agent Back Office to create your account and start your pre-license training.

As with most pre-licensing companies, your pre-licensing course must be completed within sixty (60) days from the date you create your account. We find that is plenty of time to complete the pre-licensing course and prepare to take your state-mandated licensee exam.
